Work through the decisions
behind AI adoption.

An AI policy leaves important questions to the people putting it into practice. We help you work through those questions in the context of your organization, its systems, and its responsibilities.

Consulting

Start with the work
you want AI to do.

A useful assessment may lead to a policy decision, a change to an existing system, or a technical evaluation. We begin with that question before discussing a platform.

The engagement lead, required specialists, deliverables, schedule, and fees are agreed before work begins.

Speaking

Give the audience
something to work through.

A refund with a missing confirmation. A draft sent to the wrong recipient. A reviewer asked to approve something they cannot inspect. Cases like these make the governance questions tangible.

Talks and executive briefings use a complete example to connect the technical choices with the responsibilities of the people involved.

  1. 01

    Who gave AI permission?

How a recommendation becomes an organizational act, and what a delegation needs to preserve along the way.

  2. 02

    Putting policy into a workflow

Where existing permissions help, where additional controls may be needed, and which decisions belong with an accountable person.

  3. 03

    When “success” is uncertain

What to do when an attempted action and the available records tell different stories.

Education

Practice the judgment
the work requires.

In a workshop, participants follow a request through the people and systems that can act on it. They identify the permissions involved, examine the evidence, and decide where review is necessary.

Then a condition changes. A permission is withdrawn, a record is updated, or the result cannot be confirmed. The discussion turns to what participants would do next—and what information they would need.

The textbook’s cases and diagrams support sessions adapted to the audience and learning objectives.

Working with us

Enough control
for the decision at hand.

Requiring a person to approve every routine step can consume the attention needed for the difficult ones. A standing mandate may suit repeatable work; a decision involving substantial discretion may need closer review.

We work through where that line belongs, who can change it, and what happens when a case falls outside it.

  1. 01

    Understand the current practice

Identify who makes the decision today, what they rely on, and where an AI-supported process would change their responsibilities.

  2. 02

    Agree the assignment

Set the deliverables and required expertise. Identify any questions that need specialist legal, security, or domain review.

  3. 03

    Work through the difficult cases

Examine exceptions, conflicting duties, and the information people need to exercise judgment.

  4. 04

    Leave a usable decision record

Record the recommendations, reasons, open questions, and owners of the next steps.
